| Back in 1979 we became the Rain Bird Master Distributor for southwest Ohio and have expanded to our present service area of Ohio, western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and eastern Kentucky. While the market has dramatic changes in scope and structure, the basic functions of irrigation and landscape contracting remain. Productivity and building a loyal customer base are crucial for long term success. Our objective is to help contractors develop their companies through education and field support and improve their productivity through the stock provision process. |
 |
Each year we hold training classes in each of the major cities we serve on irrigation design and service, landscape lighting, and other topics. Most of the classes are designed for persons new to the business and focusing on the basics of the subject matter so a good foundation of knowledge is built. Our classes are real training, not marketing fluff of sales presentations. |
| We have found market place health is improved when the participants are competent. Training is one step in elevating competency which benefits everyone. |
| The process of providing parts is a vital function a contractor relies on to maintain their productivity. Time is the most valuable asset a contracting company must manage and we as a supplier can help (or hurt). To that end we make sure that materials are supplied as specified and at the time required. We carry a deeper inventory than most and can be very flexible in how product is delivered. Our programs are not designed to “lock” a customer into buying from us, but to fit their business methods. |
 |
| Productivity is also determined by upgrading practices and materials to incorporate new ideas and enhancements. We view our role as bringing those ideas and products to the table for consideration. Most of our staff has worked in the field so we have an”in the trenches” viewpoint. We know the daily battles a contractor has to win and the challenges to keep the machine rolling. |

We believe in developing a productive on-going business relationship. Besides fulfilling product acquisition, we will help a customer grow in accordance with their goals. We provide hours of support to help our customers work through difficult issues whether technical or business.
The foundation of this support is our Territory Managers. Most of them have worked for landscape irrigation contractors and a couple has owned their own companies. Many have also been with us for 15 or 20 years. They know what you are facing and willing to help. The level of knowledge and assistance our Territory Managers provide is what separates them and us as a company from the rest of the industry.
Inside you will find a capable team of Warehouse Managers. Some have deep irrigation knowledge and others do not. But common to all is their desire and ability to handle your product ordering and delivery needs in a way the positively impacts your business. In every territory it is the Territory and Warehouse Manager team that gives you a deep and reliable resource and support. |
| All Territory Managers and many Warehouse Managers hold at least one I.A. certification. Behind our field team are several highly experienced, very knowledgeable, and certified management people and specialists. The best way to know the Wolf Creek difference is to experience it. The next best way is to ask our customers. |
